Have been experiencing this issue for a couple weeks. Have searched in vain online at many forums to find a definitive cause and solution. So far, none of the suggestions I've come across have fixed the problem. I was hoping a Microsoft MVP could actually speak to this problem since it appears to be rampant and the documentation goes back a couple years.
"Mail could not be received at this time. The server for account "John Doe" returned the error "logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. Your user name/password or security settings may be incorrect."
We have taken many many measures to resolve this from The Exchange server side, the Entourage 2004 client side and the OSX side. Rather than go thru this long list, I'd like to just know if someone can speak to why it is happening and if there is a fix? Thank you.
