OSX Panther and PowerPoint and transparency

Rolf Schmolling

Dear NG,
I understood, that some part of the problem we have with transparency within
Office Vx is linked to to the operating-system, though the way PowerPoint
understands and implements some graphic-formats and material is important as
well.
Any chance that some of out troubles when having _nice_ graphs in Excel and
then linking them to a PowerPoint presentation will be amended?
Anybody having experience with Panther and PowerPoint?

Thanks
Rolf

Hello!
Umm sorry - will do. Just didn't notice. Funny thing though on the
mac.powerpoint-list both worlds frequently mix and hey - some of my best
friends are Windows-users!?

But I don't want to appear too smug about my mac, the mac-version of
Office/Powerpoint is having some big misgivings and is behind with the
(bug-free) implementation of improvements (from the windows-version) as well
as possibilities coming with OSX (notably graphics, transparaencies and
stuff).
Anyway so long and thanks for the fish

And I've been seen to consort with known Macophiles. No problem, no need
for apologies.
Most of the time, when it's just about "How do I do this in PowerPoint" then
it doesn't matter, Mac or PC. Either newsgroup's fine, and since this one's
busiest, it's often the best choice.

Stuff like transparency does tend to be system-specific, though. That's why
I suggested asking Over There.

Bug-free implementation? Do we get one of those?? NEAT!! WHEN??? ;-)

Share and enjoy. ;-)

Just be sure to wash your hands well afterward.

And don't inhale.
