Other Office2003 products having conflict with ON2007 B2TR?

I have noticed, since the technical refresh, that many of my office 2003
applications have been calling the 'iinstaller' when I invoke routing
features. For example, I hit HELP in MS Word 2003, and the installer pops
up.

Often is is trying to load something to an application that is not even open
(MS Project, for example).

The last time this happened, a subsequent click on the Onenote plugin (send
a web page to Onenote) caused the installer for Onenote to open, sat for a
few minutes, and returned with a message that "Onenote addins have been
disabled, please contact your system administrator".

All very odd, and hard to replicate, and getting to be a pain in the neck.
(Needeed two reboots to get back to normal).

Looking for any other similar experiences to see if I can figure it out a
bit more before reporting as a bug on connect.microsoft.com.

Thanks.

I think they keep overwriting parts of each other. It seems to happen
more after Microsoft releases a bunch of patches. It also seems to settle
down after a bit. I have all of Office 2003 including OneNote 2003
installed as well as OneNote 2007. I don't have these problems on an
ongoing basis.

See if it settles down after a bit.

I know what you mean. Unfortunately in my case it is not settling down.
They seem to write over each other as you mentioned, and the result can be
quite time consuming, especially if the result is that features are disabled
and I have to reboot one or more times to restore them - on my tablet that
can be 15-20 minutes...

You might want to uninstall and reinstall the whole mess. I know it is a
lot of time but if it saves you 20 minutes times 5 times a day it would
be worth it.
