Other task management tools?

I am looking for a task management tool that does the following:
- regular task information (title, status, dates, attachments, etc)
- tracks due dates for tasks and gives visual indicator of approaching
and overdue tasks
- on assignment to resource, sends email w/link to resource
- as task due dates approach/exceed - email to assignee

Does anyone know of such a tool?

Hi Kevin -

You can achieve most/all of this using Groove Forms, provided you mean
"send IM" rather than email. Have a look through the Groove Rapid
Solutions Exchange <http://www.groove.net/solutions/> for some examples.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the response.

I had reviewed the templates in the RSE. There are a couple that are close,
but still a bit heavy. Ideally, someone, somewhere has or knows of a
tool/template that is simple and focused strictly on task assignment and
monitoring.

Any other ideas, or did I miss something in the RSE?
