Other versions of Publisher

I have a website created with Publisher 2000.

Can others, with later versions of Publisher edit my website pub file and
then upload to my ISP and retain it as a Publisher 2000 website?

Hi Don,

No. The HTML coding engine in Pub 2002 and 2003 is entirely different than
in Pub 2000. Your website would likely look very different, load more
slowly, and probably not load correctly in FireFox. Then if they saved your
Pub doc in 2002 or 2003 format, you would not be able to open it in Pub
2000.

If you want to read more about the differences read David Bartosik's

Thanks David.

Looks like if I turn the webmastering to another I'll have to give him or
her my Publisher program. Looks like I have a lifetime job. <G>

Looks to be a fair price. I paid $100 for Publisher 2000 alone.

The small print said, "Back in stock soon."

Take care,
