In previous versions of OTL, I never had a problem getting Word's e
mail editor to work in Outlook. With OTL 2003, I've noticed a few
times that on opening OTL, I see a pop up msg. "opening Word as e mail
editor" but most often I do not see this msg. AND I cannot use Word's
Auto Correct feature. Why would I be seeing this behavior?
I've looked in OTL Help and don't see any article about turning on
this feature. There is a vague setting "Use AutoCorrect when Word
isn't the e mail editor." I have this box checked but this text
caption doesn't explain to me what the setting is nor how I should
configure it. Also, why wouldn't Word be the e mail editor by
default?
Basically, I'd like to use Word's (& not Outlook's, which seems to
have different and fewer entries & also OTL AutoCorrect doesn't format
text like hyperlinks as far as I can tell) AutoCorrect feature in e
mail. Anyone tell me how to do that?
thanks, Richard
