Oulook 2003 Image viewing problem

When I try and view an image from an email I double click on it and it pops
up in Microsofts fax & image viewer and it says no preview available. The
only way I can see it is if I right click and save it somewhere then open up
fireworks and view it that way. Can I hange the default viewer for Outlook
to be something that wll actually be able to see the images?
