Oulook Live Upgrade to 2007

Has anyone else had their Contacts address book scrambled by this upgrade?

While both Adam Smith and Malcolm Smithwere correclty located under Smith,
Adam and Smith, Malcolm on Outlook 2003, the conversion porcess means I now
have Adam Smith located under A for Adam while Malcolm Smith continues to be
correctly filed under S for Smith, Malcolm. The section "File Under"
correctly gives the surnmae first in both cases.

Obviously it should not, but I can assure you it did.

My suspicions would lie with the Outlook Live program rather than Outlook
itself. with its links to Hotmail and the fact that some entries will have
been entered in Hotmail rather than Outlook, I suspect that may be the problem

It's probably related to the default setting on the side you created the
contact in - I have to rebuild a MOOL system today and will see if I can
repro.

Is it just a matter of telling the address book to use the File As settings
instead of "First Last"?

Sorry no it is not.

Alan Miles and Duncan Aldridge are adjacent entries.
Both appear as "File As" Miles, Alan and Aldridge, Duncan.
While the Aldridge entry correctly appears under A, so does Alan Miles!

Was one of those contacts imported?
