Oultook POP email re-download duplicates.

Hi all,
Every so often outlook decides to re-download all the messages on my
POP mail server. This translates into hundreds or thousands of duplicate
emails. Help! I don't want to set outlook to delete messages off POP
server since I sometimes use the webmail features to check mail when on the
road.

If you have Norton or McAfee set to scan your incoming/outgoing messages,
try turning it off.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
