If I try to send an e-mail (hit "send/receive) Entourage indicates at the bottom of the page " Connecting to smtp .mac.com". After a minute I get an error. The error says:

"An operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, pverloaded, or there may be too much net traffic."

(The server is fine and works for everyone else)

The message continues by saying:

"Explanation: Mail could not be sent.
Account name: "Mac"
Error: -3259'.

Help is appreciated!

If what you've displayed is an exact quote, there appears to be an extra
space between smtp and the period following it. If that's the case in your
account setup, delete the space in the name of the SMTP server. Also make
sure that the advanced sending options shows that the SMTP server requires
authentication, and that it uses the same login as the receiving mail
server.

Hope this helps!
