Out looks for Norton b

I purchased a new computer that included Norton trial version. I did not want
Norton and removed the progam but when starting Outlook it looks for Norton
Anti Virus 2006. I get the message that "Norton 2006 does not support the
repair feature. Please uninstall and reinstall" How do I turn off Outlook
from looking for the norton anti virus

Did you uninstall through Add/Remove Programs?
See if Norton left any remnants in Tools-> Options-> tab Other-> button
Advanced Options-> button COM Add-Ins/Add-In Manager
