Out of memory error in Excel

J

johapi

I am trying to open an Excel file that a friend emailed me with an animated puzzle of some sort. The file name is Watershare.xls and its size is 106KB.

It works on the Windows version, but not on the Mac. I have an iMac with the latest Leopard OS.

The file never opens. Instead I get an "Out of Memory" error box.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi,

Maybe the file is corrupt. If necessary, you may try a popular Excel
file recovery tool called Advanced Excel Repair to repair your Excel
file. It is a powerful tool to repair corrupt or damaged Excel files.

Detailed information about Advanced Excel Repair can be found at
http://www.datanumen.com/aer/

And you can also download a free demo version at http://www.datanumen.com/aer/aer.exe
