Out of Memory Error - Office X

Hello, I have a 1.6 MB spreadsheet that includes a visual macro. Every
time I try to open it, Excel gives me a message of "out of memory" and
will not open the spreadsheet. I quit everything and still have the
problem. I should have plenty of memory to open this spreadsheet, I
don't understand what the problem is. Plus, in Mac OS X, I can't find
anywhere to adjust memory allocation. I appreciate any help that
anyone can offer.

OSX doesn't require allocation of memory - it's done on the fly. The
first thing to do is to reset your disk permissions. It would also be
worth running a disk utility, like Norton, DiskWarrior, or TechTool.
