out of memory error when trying to save an appointment

I am new to outlook contact management and calandar. it has however been
installed on my system and updated by ms update regularly. i have office sp3
installed. when i try to save an appointment i get an out of memory or not
enough resources error message from that paper-clip dude. Also, I can not
save contactys. It says it doies but when reopening outlook 2002. they are
gone. I suspect that paper-clip has kidnapped them. I need to use ms out
look and activesync to utilize contacts and appts with my pda for a new job.
any help out there??
