Out of Memory or System Resources. close some windows or programs

When I send Email from my Outlook I get the following message sporadically.

"Out of Memory or System Resources. close some windows or programs and try
again."

When I look at my System Resources, I don't see the computer being taxed at
all in terms of processes, CPU usage etc...
The one process that may be acting up is SVCHOST.exe which is running at
~75MB. I had this problem before with WSUS pushing down updates... just
thinking aloud here...

Outlook 2003; Exchange Server

Any ideas, I'd appreciate it.
