Out of Memory

Please help Access guru's. I have an Access 2000 database
that is beginning to have corruption issues. The general
trend tends to be that the more I add to the database, the
more problems I am having. The problems I am having, I am
fairly certain, are because individual computers cannot
handle the amount of memory needed to process certain
forms and as a result Access crashes completely,
everytime. The database is just over 4MB, has workgroup
security enabled, and, of course, I have compacted and
repaired to my hearts content. Has anybody experienced
these problems?

A thought. I just upgraded to WinXP from Win98. Long running Access2000 databases began to get fatal errors about unable to write to a memory location. After using the XP compatibility solution to simulate Win98 for Access the problems disappeared. (Now the Access Help won't work, however)
