Out of office assistant in Outlook Express

Hi There,

Can someone tell me whether Outlook Express allows access
to the "out of office assistant" as is available in
regular Outlook?

I'm looking under "tools" but can't find it. I need to be
able to apply an automated response when I can't
personally reply to incoming messages.

No - it is an Exchange server based option for Outlook only.
