Out of Office Assistant not located in Tools Menu

I have MS Outlook 2002. In past Outlook versions I was able to use
Out of Office Assistant with no problem, but now I cannot find it in this
Outlook version. I have tried the Add In Manager, but that did not work.
How do I connect to the Exchange Server, if that is my problem? I thought I
was always connected to it??

What do you have in tools | e-mail accounts? Do you have an Exchange server
account set up in there?

If you are connecting to an Exchange server, please contact your
administrator. Exchange is an email server normally used in a business
environment but not all businesses use Exchange server for email. Your
administrator will be able to advise you.
If you are a home user and connect to a POP3 server then Out of Office has
to be set up using a rule:

Please don't multipost.

I also now see that you did ask this same question earlier and received many
replies.

I am sorry if you think I multi-posted this, but I did NOT. I changed my
inquiry because I realized I had worded it incorrectly the first time. Now
the responses I have been getting are helpful.

You did post the same question twice, I see now....this one was posted not
all that long after the first. It really is best to keep things in the
original thread unless it's been many days without an answer.
