The Out of Office Assistant is only available if you are using an Exchange
server. If you
are using Exchange, ensure that the Exchange Extensions are installed and
are not corrupt.
If you are not using Exchange, then you need to use Rules Wizard to automate
the sending of
the Out of Office Assistant. However, there is a major drawback. The OoOA
will reply to
all mail, including spam. You must also leave Outlook open, your machine
on, and set an
automatic polling interval. You may run into mail loops and basically bring
your system
down.
A better choice would be to ask your ISP if they have this service - many
do.
