Out-of-office assistant reply being sent to people who didn't emai

I have been granted privileges to a couple of other people's calendars.
Because of this, the last time I set my out-of-office assistant when I was
gone, people who were emailing those people whose calendars I have privileges
to, were receiving MY out-of-office reply. This resulted in confusion over
who was in the office and who was truly out. Is there a way to remedy this so
that only people emailing me directly will receive my out-of-office reply?

They've set permissions in such a way that you can also process their
meeting requests. If you are not there, you can't process the requests and
the original sender gets a notification of that in the form of your OOF.
They must modify your permissions so that you don't delegate their meeting
requests to you. You can do this in Tools-> Options-> tab Permissions.
