Not exactly true. While the OoOA is a server side operation, the user
configures it from his/her desktop. The user can set the parameters (how
long out of the Office) and configure a custom message informing the sender
of alternatives if the sender does not want to wait for the recipient's
return. You can also set rules to run on the client for mail that arrives
during your absence.
Lovely little tool that one!
