Hello,

I am currently experiencing a problem regarding the Out
of Office assistant sending replies to internal
addresses, but not external addresses. I tried to create
a rule to send an auto reply to every sender, both
internal and external, but it sent a duplicate mail for
the internal and it only worked on the external when the
client was open. (It was a client only rule). Is there a
way to turn off this client only and have it filter
through our Exchange Server (Version 5.5). Are there any
other ways to solve this problem? Thank You

Exchange, by default, is set to deny replies and forwards to the Internet.
There are very good reasons for this configuration and not many for changing
it.

Talk to the Exchange Admin and see what you can work out.
