Out of office Auto Reply has stopped working

I have recently upgraded the mail security on my Exchange server to Symantec
Information Foundation Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange and have
discovered quite by accident that the out of office reply on Out Look 2003 is
not sending out replies over the WAN. Can anyone out there help me out with
this?

I would be most grateful.

have you checked the out of office reply settings in exchange server manager?
maybe symantec changed them
