Out of Office Message Not Available

When I go to Tools, the out of office assistant is not
available to add an out of office message. How do I get
it back? Thanks!

Are you connected to an Exchange Server? If not you will not have that
option.

If you're not on Exchange you can emulate it. See

Be aware however, that to emulate the OOOA effectively you have to have your
internet connection always on and you have to leave Outlook always open
while you are away.
