Out-Of-Office only works if changed in OWA

Hello

We have one Client (Outlook 2003) where I can enable, dissable modify text
and so on in the out-of-office assistent and everything seems fine but If I
check the modification in OWA (same user) my old settings are still on the
server. So everythinig i make in outlook is not transfered to the server.
(Exchange 2007 SP1)
I moved to a different computer, enabled and dissabled offline settings,
created a new profile, moved the user to a different store on the server -
nothing helped.

Can anyone help me ?

PS: Client is german version - Server english
