we have Outlook 2000 and I can not figure out how to set
up an automatic out of office reply. I can only get as
far as "reply with a specific message". then I have to
click on the underlined part to create the message and it
will not let me. It tries to open a file that can not be
opened. does anyone know another route?

Are you using an Exchange server? If not, are you using Rules Wizard? How
are the rules set up if using Rules Wizard?
