Out of Office status is temporarily unavailable because Entouragecannot connect to the server

Hi - I'm on Entourage 12.1.7 and get this message when I click on OOO
"Out of Office status is temporarily unavailable because Entourage cannot
connect to the server."

I've googled it and it keeps coming back to SP1 was supposed to have fixed
this. Have I got something not set up quite right maybe??!!
