Outbound messages not being sent out

Hi All,

This is a weird one! I send email out on smtp.abc.co.uk through Microsoft
Outlook 2000. Email is coming in OK over POP3 from my hosting ISP but
outbound through my Internet connection ISP will not send at all. My
current connection is via the ABC ISP over ADSL. Mail sits in the outbox
and I get timeout errors. This suddenly started happening one morning on an
entire LAN of 5 PCs. I can get Internet access OK on all PCs, I can telnet
to smtp.abc.co.uk on port 25 ok too.

If I dial out to the ABC ISP mail goes OK. This exact same connection is
working fine at another site. There is no packet loss on the ADSL
connection and port 25 filter otherwise I would not be able to telnet.

God knows the answer ot this one guys!!!!

What happens if you use Outlook Express? Did you do anything on the LAN
just prior to this happening? It seems quite suspicious that all machines
on the LAN started having the problem simultaneously...
