Outbox - Can't send or delete huge file

I have a had huge file (12MB) sitting in my outbox all morning and it won't
send and I can't seem to delete it (by right clicking and pressing the delete
button). Can anyone help me with how I get rid of this message, it's
preventing me from sending any other messages.

What version of Outlook? IF Outlook 2003, use File->Work Offline. Close
and reopen Outlook and then delete the mail. Post back for the longer
solution if this does not work.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
