Outbox problem - can't send

if I open the outbox bolder (not the messages waiting there to go) then if I
ht send / receive none of them go. If I open the messages there and hit send
in them, still they don't go. if I create and send a message from the inbox
(without looking in the outbox) and click send / receive it goes fine.
please enlighten me as to what is going on. Thanks.

How about you enlighten us first?

What version of Outlook? What do you have defined for your default
connection type in Tools->Accounts (can be different for different
versions)? Do you have a default polling interval set? Do you have Send
Immediately When Connected Checked?

Post back and we will see what can be done to assist you.
