Let me see if I can do this correctly!!
I am running Outlook 2007 12.0.6023.5000 MSO 12.0.6017.5000
Microsoft Office Enterprise
Vista Home Basic
Is this what you need?
Anyway I have had my new computer for about a month and this past week I
have sent attachments with my email as I have always done and these two
particular emails which were sent to about 10 addresses, I noticed an hour
later this email was still in my outbox still sending over and over again.
The next time it happened it sent through the night my friends are not too
happy about that.
When I noticed the email sitting in my outbox I tried deleting by hitting
the delete button both on the task bar and by right clicking after twenty
or
so hits on the ole delete button voila. I feel like this is a bug in the
system after reading some of your postings other people are obviously
suffering the problem, is there a fix for this problem??
Well, have you followed the steps Craig posted? Pretty much the same steps
I was going to post (heck, he might have grabbed them from me...)
As for a 'fix' to the problem... do you have any applications running that
plug into Outlook, specifically an Anti-Virus software? If you do, get rid
of the outlook part of the software, it isn't needed. I mean, if it's
scanning your system for viruses, then you aren't going to be getting more
protection by scanning your email in transit. After all, you can't have
gotten a virus since you're running an AV.
