Outbox slow to send

I send a 137 kb email to about 200 recipients, with two small attachments.
Since upgrading to 2007 two weeks ago, it sticks in the outbox, sending one
at a time over the course of several days. I can see it "Sending Message
1/1" then it says it is complete and all folders up to date. If I press F9,
it sends another.

I don't want to delete from the Outbox because it seems to be sending
alphabetically and I don't want my Yolondas and Zacharies to miss out.

How can I get it to send it quickly, all at once? It used to work with no
problems. I send something like this once a week, on average.

Have you applied Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 already?
Also, if you have a virus scanner that installed which integrates itself
with Outlook, disable/uninstall this integration and try again.
