How do I append a disclaimer to all outgoing messages?
Doesn't matter what you state in a disclaimer. They aren't legally
enforceable (i.e., they will NOT protect you against damage claims).
After all, the recipient cannot see your disclaimer until AFTER they
open your e-mail. Oh yeah, put a sign inside the box telling the person
that opens the box that the box will explode when opened. Too late.
To the recipient, appending a disclaimer trying to disavow any
responsibility on your part makes you look as stupid as the boobs that
configure their anti-virus programs to append the text "This e-mail is
not infected. You can believe me. I scanned it so I promise it is
okay. I am not a bad guy so you can believe me." It makes the sender
look like a moron.
