Dear all,
My boss Mac book is using MS office 2008 for Mac to connect our company
server Exchange 2007. He has a big problem in using Entourage.
He went to trip in Munich last month. He always has to open Entourage to
read and create email even no internet connection on the plane. Then he will
click send after finish email even those email couldn't be send out because
of no connection, and the email will waiting to send out in the outbox. Then
the email will send out automatically after he arrived in hotel with
internet connection.
Sometimes he will use wifi connection in many cafe or public areas which
service provide by T-mobile.
The first step of connect the wifi service is:
1. Connect the T-mobile wifi connection without security key.
2. Then open the browser to any website, and then the browser will turn to
service provider web page automatically. It will ask you to choice some pay
method like pay by credit card or monthly user id & password, etc.
3. After pass through the authentication, you can truly to go on internet.
The problem is after the wifi functions connected before login, the
Entourage detected and send out the email automatically which are waiting in
outbox. But its fall into the black hole that all of the recipients didn't
receive.
My boss Entourage version is 12.1.3 and my Entourage version is 12.1.0. I
try to simulate the situation of his problem. I used PCCW wifi in Hong Kong
which is same service and same technology as T-mobile. I had the same
problem that those email was lost. After I upgraded the Entourage to 12.1.1,
the problem was fixed that email in outbox will not send out before login in
web browser. I also step by step to upgrade (12.1.1 >12.1.2 >12.1.3 >12.1.4
problem will not occur next time.
I would like to know that is this problem already fixed? Microsoft knows
this problem before? Why the problem didn't occur when I upgrade to 12.1.3?
Sorry for any inconvenience that this too long writing.
Thank you so much.
Best regards,
KenL

upgrade my boss Entourage to the latest version 12.1.9 that I hope this12.1.5 >12.1.7 >12.1.9). Then I tested it's also no problem. So I also
