outgoing mail problems

My email is unable to send messages all of a sudden. I can receive but not
send. It is saying this:

Task 'mail.mac.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC78) : 'Unable to send
the message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account properties.
The server responded: 451 4.0.0 You have exceeded 400 recipients in the last
24 hours. Try again later.'

I haven't sent or received over 400 emails in 24 hours. HELP. I need to send
emails!

Have you sent 400 emails in the past 24 hrs? It looks like your isp limits
the number of emails you can send. If you haven't sent that many, then your
computer is infected with "zombie" software that is sending the mail and it
is junk mail.
