outgoing message gets stuck in outbox in outlook 2007

When I send a message using one of my email accounts it gets stuck in the
outbox and takes forever to send. How can I fix this problem?

Is it too large to send? http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/stuck_message.htm

If not, you need to identify the cause before you can fix it.
If you are using antivirus to scan outgoing mail you'll need to disable the
email scanning - this often causes issues such as this.

I've a similar problem. I disabled the antivirus but that didn't
help.. Any other suggestions??
