Outline code Picklist does not show codes' descriptions

I customized Outline Code (Tools/Customize/Fields).

Defined Code Masks for some levels.

Created Lookup table and entered some Outline

codes WITH DESCRIPTION for them.

Then added the column with this Outline Code to

Chantt Chart.

When I want to choose outline code to this or that task,

the Picklist shows only codes WITHOUT DESCRIPTION.

MSP Training courseware (Lesson 11 - Outlining)

insists the description is shown as well.

Does anybody know, how to make description shown?
