Outline formatting withsam left margin

Can I format my default styles in the Master Slide so that all levels
have the same left margin? Seems I cannot drag the left margin all the
way to zero for any level but the top level. Each following level MUST
have an indent from the level above.

I was able to get this to work by going to Master View, placing the IP
in front of the bullets in the lower indent levels, then selecting
"Decrease Indent" from the Formatting Toolbar. If you don't want
bullets you can disable them from the same toolbar.

That doesn't work. Each decrease in indent is a promotion to a higher
outline level. I want the outline formats to all havve the same left
margin.

I found that holding Control as I drag the margins will let me do
that, but with a problem: If any level has an indent or uses bullets,
then all lower levels will have that inden as their left margin. Like
this:

Level 1
Level 2
· Level 3
Level 4
Level 5

What I want is:

Level 1
Level 2
· Level 3
Level 4
Level 5
