I'd like to know why Microsoft thinks it's a good idea not to include the
promote/demote and move up/move down commands in the ribbon in PPT 2007. Have
they only asked the views of users who don't use them? They are
incredibly useful, but they only seem to be available by going to customise
and putting them on the quick access toolbar. And it's not just in outline
view that I (and I suspect many others) use these commands, especially
promote/demote.
Outlining seems to have a bug in it: you can't properly select the text and
the cursor fails to go more than half-way down the pane, even though the
slide view shows further on (in a 13 slide presentation, the cursor won't go
beyound slide 9 on the outline pane although the slide view shows slide 13).
Sad glitches in what seems to be a very good product.
