Outline Letters

I use W2k to produce name patterns which I then use as templates on
wood to make nameplates. To further explain I enter the name, John
Smith, then change the font size to 100 and select a font that I find
pleasing. I then print this and glue it to a piece of wood and using a
scroll saw cut out the name. What gives me a problem is that the
printed letters are 'filled in'. Sometimes the saw blade drifts into
the letter and this is difficult to see. I am wondering is there a way
to print so that only a line is shown for the outline of the
lettering.
Thanks for any and all help.

Highlight (Select) the text, right-click, and check the box labeled
"outline".

There are also fonts available identified as "outline" fonts.
