Outline Numbering in WordXP

Laurent

I only recently changed from Office 2000 to XP. I use the outline
numbered lists quite a lot, and I always used TAB and SHIFT-TAB to
promote and demote items. This doesn't seem to work in XP anymore, it
just inserts a normal TAB. Or have I missed something?

I know that I can do it with the Increase/Decrease Indent buttons, or
even creating new shortcut keys instead of using the buttons, but I
would like to have the TAB key functionality back.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Laurent

For Word 2002 and later: On the AutoFormat As You Type tab of the
Tools > AutoCorrect dialog box, enable the option to "Set first and
left indent with tabs and backspaces".
