Outline numbering

Hi,

I've just begun using formatting and styles in Word 2003 (thanks to MVP sites)

I've used outline numbering with cascading styles(Shauna Kelly :->) to
format a document. This worked beuatifully and I was so excited when the TOC
WORKED too!

THEN, I was asked to add this document to a larger document as a section of
the larger doc.

How do I use my beautiful heading styles now?

I need to restart the numbering for the next section and still create a TOC.

Can anyone help me please?

Dear Smudge,
You're off to a great start! Now open the bigger document and copy the
outline numbering styles you just created into the document
(see http://wordangel.com/StealingStyles.pdf )
Then, apply your new styles to the big doc headings, and paste in the text
from your smaller document. You may have to manually check the styles, but
this should make it easier for you.
