Outline view on right margin! HELP!

T

Tom G.

Somehow my normal.dot was corrupted and I had to delete it.

Now when ever I go to outline view, everything is right justified so that
new text emanates from the right margin and that's where the (--) and the
(+) signs are showing the outline hierarchy.

Please help!

Sounds as if you may have activated right-to-left editing, somehow. Have you
checked what languages are activated and set as the default in the Language
Settings (Something like START/Programs/Microsoft Office/MS Off tools,
depending on which version you have)? You want to remove any you aren't
going to use from the Enabled Languages list.

You might want also want to read up on the right-to-left information in
Word's Help files.
