I have a bizarre problem with the outlining function of MS Word.
If I am in the second level of outlining (i.e. the numbers after th
roman numerals), in order to get to a new roman numeral, I click retur
and then tab and then backspace twice. However, sometimes, when I ta
forward and then use the backspace, the number completely disappears.
Let me give you an example of what I do:
I start using the outline function and it works fine:
I.
II.
A.
B.
Then to get III, I usually click return, tab, then backspace twice.
The result is:
I.
II.
A.
B.
III.
However, sometimes when I am using the outlining function and click th
backspace (like above), I loose the outlining format altogether an
have to start it again manually.
I know that I am not doing a good job articulating the problem but i
you can make any sense out of this posting and you can help, the
please
Thanks
