Outllok 2003 - Rules - Move a copy - Should not be unread!

Hi There
I use a rule that copies an email to a specific folder after sending
based upon a specific email address. It works fine, BUT why oh why can
I not in the same action mark the email as read?

It is very annoiyng that an email that I have sent myself pops up in
the "Unread" favorite folder... can anyone help me?

I am in my (Norwegian) version of Outlook 2003 able to add an additional
action (if that's the proper english name for it?) in Tools | Rules
Wizard..., that make the emails Unread as well. Hence, having both actions
(Move/Copy to folder AND Mark as read) in the same rule.

At least this works for my incoming emails, so should be able to work on
yours as well?

Right. On incoming messages, but the OP was speaking of outgoing messages,
and that action isn't available for outgoing message rules.
