Outllok 2003 triggers SVCHOST CPU monopolization

C

Chaz

I've loaded the Office 2003 System and whenever I run Outlook, the SVChost
process starts to consume 98%+ of the CPU resources and my system slows to a
crawl. I've run virus scans and AdAware with up to date definition files,
everything is clean. If I remove Office 2003 and go back to Office XP,
everything is fine. OS is Win XP Pro. System is fully up to date with
Windows Update.

Any ideas on problem diagnosis and resolution?
