I use Office standard and Outlook 2007 along with Vista home preimum as my OS.

How can I stop/shut off pop windows in Outlook 2007, such as: "Are you sure
you want to empty your junk mail folder"?, "Are you sure you want to empty
your deleted items folder"? (when exiting outlook), etc, etc.

I cannot find any setting nor options that will let me stop those annoying
pop-ups.

Please Help !!!!!

Thank You ----- Larry

It should be the same as in 2003--Tools, Options, Other, Advanced Options,
uncheck "Warn when permanently deleting..." You must have checked "empty
folders when exiting" too. Uncheck that on the Other tab page so it is not
emptied at shutdown. Do it manually instead. You never know when you need to
retrieve an item in the Deleted folder.

Marry ---- Thank you very much, some how I got struck by dumb and forgot
where the setting was. After I received my reply from Roady, my mind finally
kicked in and my brain started to work again. That is what happens when you
turn 70 years old. Thank again ---- Larry
