Outllook keeps restarting very frequently

It's shutting down more and more frequently while checking calendar, and
while doing a variety of normal tasks. I already tried to repair option be
re-installing the original DVD choosing the repair option. I depend very
heavily on Outlook and am getting very concerned. Any ideas? I have a
nearly new computer and have run diagnostics, virus and malware checks, and
everything else I could think of. ALL other software runs fine, except for
this.
Any ideas are most appreciated.
I'm running Vista with SP1, and have the Office 2007 Suite.

Have you checked your application event viewer for any Outlook or
Office-related errors?

Also, have you tried running a repair against your PST file?

Was Outlook 2007 an upgrade or a clean install with a new Outlook profile?
