I have a worker on the network that is using Office XP on a Xp sp 2 machine.
When this person opens Outlook, it runs properly. When this person is done,
they go to shut down their Outlook and then shut down their machine. The
machine hangs when shutting down because somehow there are multiple instances
of Outlook running. Now if you shut all the outlook instances that are
running in task manager, then the computer will shut down.
This person is competent on the computer and this never happened before.
I first did a Repair from the disc, then I uninstalled and then reinstalled
and the problem persists.
Any ideas on where to start?
Regards,
