I use Outllook as my email client, mainly because it syncs with my phone.
I tend to leave it open in the background whilst doing other things. All
normal so far?
Everytime it 'pages' ( my expression but I'm sure everyone will know what I
mean) and checks for email on my accounts ( I have several) every other
program (including Outlook) stops. I may be typing or anything, 'focus' goes
from the program I am working with and does not return until its finished.
This frequently results in lost words and many other errors.
Why is this happening? My PC is quite powerful. Dual core CPU 3500+, no less
than 4GB of RAM.
Surely it should tick away in the background leaving me alone with other work?
Thanks
Peter
